1. Do I need to go to any Modeling/Acting Classes or have previous experience to participate in any of the Showcases? No! You do not have to take any preparation courses or have previous experience to be discovered at a Showcase. American Star Discovery is looking for fresh new faces and any level of experience for modeling and talent. 2. Do I have to be beautiful, thin, or have perfect teeth to have a chance to win? American Star Discovery is searching for many different types of models, actors/actresses, and talent to fulfill the many different entertainment industry opportunities. 3. Are females required to wear makeup and expensive clothing? All contestants are highly encouraged to look their best while trying to maintain a natural look, so makeup is not a requirement especially on the younger contestants. American Star Discovery has no restrictions on clothing, however certain events require specific attire for that event. 4. What are the benefits of attending a preliminary, or state, showcase? All preliminary contestants receive their showcase events entry fee paid in full for the state showcases. State showcase contestants have the opportunity to win part or all of their showcase events entry fees paid to the Grand Showcase, and one State SuperModel will win all the entry fees and optionals paid in full! In addition, each of these showcases allow individuals the chance to practice on stage with the same scoring criteria in preparation for the Grand Showcase. This gives contestants who go to both a preliminary, and state, showcase extra opportunity for feedback and improvement prior to attending the Grand Showcase. With such an advantage, these contestants are better equipped for winning SuperModel of the Year, and the Overall prize package! 5. Should I win an event at an American Star Discovery showcase is there a guarantee for work in the entertainment industry? As is the case with any working entertainer it is the responsibility of the individual to take advantage of the opportunity to which any agent affords you. However, American Star Discovery does guarantee print work, and television commercials, in conjunction with advertising for American Star Discovery State and Grand Showcases. American Star Discovery will guarantee discovered talent will be submitted for auditions, casting calls, and modeling events for which the individual is qualified to be submitted. 6. How do I register for a preliminary showcase? Please contact American Star Discovery at info@americanstardiscovery.com for information on all preliminary and state showcases. 7. What if there isn't a preliminary or state showcase in my area, how may I have the opportunity to be discovered by American Star Discovery? Anyone is eligible to attend a preliminary, state, or the Grand Showcase, as they are all open invitation events. However, if you are looking to have the opportunity to win fees off to the Grand Showcase, American Star Discovery does periodically host Online Contests. During the Online Contests interested individuals may enter for a nominal fee and may win their Showcase Entry Fee paid in part, or in full.
